Mother’s Day Craft Idea for Sunday School (Cont.)
3. Flower Pot Card
(Idea from and directions available at Kare Wares)
Next up… This adorable card takes a bit more prep time upfront. But it’s certainly fun! Sunday school students can assemble and glue the pre-cut pieces together or cut them out themselves (if they are scissor-worthy!).
After the craft is assembled, the flower pieces say “I love you!” and include a picture of the child. Plus, the flowers tuck into the pot, making it easier for kids to get the craft home in one piece.
4. From the Bottom of My Heart to the Tips of My Toes
Again, you can’t go wrong with handprints and footprints. This is such a great Mother’s Day craft for Sunday school. Moms in your church will cherish it for a long time! Bonus: You don’t need lots of supplies to pull off this project.
5. Train Up a Child Flower Card
(Idea from and directions available at The Browy Blog)
Moms in your church will love receiving one of these flowers, decorated by their own kids. The card attached to the bottom reads:
Train up a child in the way they should “grow,” and they will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6
Thanks for the good roots, Mom!
