Brandon Lake and CeCe Winans Dominate Billboard’s End-of-Year Christian and Gospel Charts

Grammy Award-winning artists Brandon Lake and CeCe Winans topped Billboard’s 2025 year-end Christian and gospel charts, respectively. 

Lake’s hit single, “Hard Fought Hallelujah,” took the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s 2025 Hot Christian Songs year-end chart. Lake also appears in the No. 3 spot along with Elevation Worship, Chris Brown, and Chandler Moore, and he took the No. 4 spot for “Praise.”

CeCe Winans topped Billboard’s 2025 Hot Gospel Songs, with “That’s My King.” Winans Took the No. 2 spot on the chart as well, with her song “Come Jesus Come.”

Brandon Lake Top Year-End Chart

Brandon Lake is known for songs including “Gratitude” and “Graves Into Gardens,” and his accolades include five Grammys and 15 Grammy nominations, in addition to multiple GMA Dove Awards and K-LOVE Fan Awards. 

Lake’s single “Hard Fought Hallelujah” won Song of the Year at the 2025 GMA Dove Awards. In addition to Lake, credited writers on the song include country artist Jelly Roll, Elevation Worship, and Steven Furtick.

Lake first released “Hard Fought Hallelujah” in November 2024. In February 2025, he and Jelly Roll released a widely acclaimed collaboration on the song. The two artists were recently nominated for a Grammy for the single in the category of Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song.

“The song first entered the weekly Hot Christian Songs chart at No. 1 on Nov. 23, 2024, and for the rest of the 2025 chart year — covering the charts dated Oct. 26, 2024, through Oct. 18, 2025,” said Billboard, “it consistently held either the top spot or the No. 2 position.”

Forrest Frank, who also dominated the charts this year, took the No. 2 spot on the end-of-year chart with “Your Way’s Better.” Phil Wickham and Josiah Queen were also among the Top 10 artists on the chart.
