Children’s ministry is fun. We do laugh, dance, sing loudly, do funny skits, and play games. Yes, we do all that with intention, connecting activities to a main point. But it’s still fun. People who don’t like fun won’t really enjoy children’s ministry.
4. Each children’s ministry volunteer impacts lives for eternity.
A junior high student who became a Christian several years ago served at VBS. That isn’t unusual. A healthy kids ministry can transform a staggering number of lives. Volunteers serve kids, yes, but they also impact entire families.
