“We want this to be a Jesus moment,” Asbury stated. “We want this to be a time where culture is doing one thing and we’re doing another. We’re glorifying the name of Jesus. We’re showing his preeminence. We’re worshiping. We’re praying.”

Asbury explained that he envisions the event to be like an evangelistic Billy Graham crusade with an altar call and “just mass salvation taking place across this nation.”

“How beautiful would that be?” Asbury asked.

The worship singer concluded his update by sharing that they are currently looking for a “venue,” “donors,” and “sponsors,” while reassuring his followers that they would not be “taking a dime” from the event. “This is not a get-rich-quick scheme. This is simply, let’s offer something to the nation and to the Lord,” said Asbury.
