World-renowned prosperity preacher Benny Hinn and his wife, Suzanne, are now officially divorced—again. The couple first married in 1979, divorced in 2010, and remarried in 2013.
According to court records the “Dissolution of Marriage” filed by Suzanne on July 26, 2024 was finalized on Nov. 24. The 72-year-old Benny shares four adult children with Suzanne.
In 2012, Benny told his ministry followers that the ministry the Lord Jesus called him into took “a far greater toll on [his] marriage than [he] realized.” He explained, “I once believed that my ministry came before my family, and I now realize that I was wrong. God comes first, then my family, and then my ministry.”

Benny also cited that Suzanne’s abuse of prescription medications made her “behave erratically at times.” Benny said, “As her husband, I did not know the extent of her reliance on these medications, nor did I fully understand just how much harm they were causing to her, physically and emotionally.”
Following the couples’ divorce in 2010, Suzanne checked herself into a rehab and no longer became dependent on medication. “Today she is totally set free from the need for these medications—she is completely whole—and for that I give the Lord Jesus the praise,” Benny shared.
“The truth of the matter is that Suzanne filed for divorce because she was in a deep emotional and physical crisis that affected her in such a way that caused her to make a decision she now regrets,” Benny wrote. “And although it was, without question, the most agonizing two and a half years of my life, the end of our marriage most certainly woke me up, and the Lord used it to show me—as a man of God and as a man—that I cannot function properly without my wife and family.”
