Max Chambers was “raised in the church” and made his way to the Season 28 finals on “The Voice.” As a young 14-year-old who sings about God’s love, Chambers chose Forrest Frank’s “YOUR WAY’S BETTER” to perform on the show.

“It’s bold to be open about your faith,” coach Michael Bublé told Chambers.

‘The Voice’ Finalist Max Chambers Sang Forrest Frank’s ‘YOUR WAY’S BETTER’ at the Finale

At just the age of 14, Chambers made it to the finals of Season 28 on “The Voice.” Even as the youngest person in the competition, Chambers easily held his own with a wild card entry to the finals.

Chambers’ coach, Michael Bublé, wanted to coach the young, rising star with natural ability and incredible potential. Right away, Bublé saw how Chambers connected with the audience with great emotion.

During the season’s finale, Chambers sang a duet with Bublé. The duo chose to sing “Blue Christmas,” which Elvis Presley made famous, and Bublé recorded his own rendition on his album “Christmas” (2011).

In addition to Whitney Houston’s “One Moment in Time,” Chambers chose to sing Forrest Frank’s “YOUR WAY’S BETTER” during the finale. The lyrics of Frank’s song include:

Oh Lord, I need You now more than ever
Would You put my heart back together
I searched the world ’til my head hurt
Just to find out Your way’s better
Oh-oh, Your way’s better
Oh-oh, Your way’s better
Oh, Lord, Your way’s better
Jesus, Your way’s better

Frank’s song ranked in the Top 10 on Google’s Year in Search 2025. Like much of Frank’s music, “YOUR WAY’S BETTER” came out of a time of personal struggle. He recorded a voice memo of a raw prayer to God that became a hit once set to melody.

It appears to be that it’s become more common to hear faith-based performances on singing reality shows. Finalist Breanna Nix sang a song by Brandon Lake on “American Idol. Despite some “internet hate” for being a Christian, she advanced through the season.

“It’s bold to be open about your faith,” said Bublé after Chambers’ performance on “The Voice.” Bublé added, “Do you know how many people are watching at home that might be shy to share theirs?”

Bublé continued, “The fact that you just did that. Thank you.”

Frank shared the video on Instagram and noted that Bublé’s comments gave him “chills.”

“Someone sang my song on THE VOICE?!” Frank noted in the clip.
