Revive Our Hearts founder Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth shared a tearjerking social media post following the death of her husband, Robert Wolgemuth, who passed away Saturday.
Robert Wolgemuth, who was the former president of Thomas Nelson Publishers and founder of Wolgemuth & Associates, died Jan. 10 at age 78.
Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth, a best-selling author known for her “Lies Women Believe” book series, married Robert in 2015, a year after the death of his first wife, Bobbie, who died of ovarian cancer in 2014.

“Late the night of Dec 23, I left this note for @robertwolgemuth to find when he got up for his early morning coffee,” Wolgemuth wrote alongside an image she posted on social media.
The image showed a handwritten message Nancy had written to Robert on a napkin that read, “I love you so. [Image of a heart] Happy Christmas Eve!”
Reflecting on that morning, Wolgemuth shared the rapid decline in his health.
“He had not been feeling well. Early Christmas Eve morning, I took him to the ER, as he was in pain, struggling to breathe. He declined quickly and within a few days was totally unresponsive,” she wrote.

“On Jan 10, I returned to our home a widow,” Wolgemuth continued. “That same day, Robert moved to his eternal Home, to find unending joy and rest with Christ.”
“I do love him so—more than I could have imagined being possible a decade ago,” she said. “And I know this contented, grateful man is happier today than he ever dreamed of being on earth.”
