Another person accused Todd of succumbing to distraction himself. “The fact that you’re talking about it so long, showing that you’re distracted and your focus is gone,” one comment read. “You should be preaching the word, but you’re distracted by the video.”
Someone else advised, “This [sermon] would have been better if [Todd] would have just laughed, acknowledged that it was funny and accurate, said ‘yes we do need to do better if this is how we’re being perceived,’ and went on about his day with an uplifting sermon.”
Other prominent figures who have addressed Druski’s megachurch parody video include Pastor John Gray and Christian hip hop artist Lecrae.
