‘Greater Than’ Movement Aims To Protect Children by Ending Same-Sex Marriage

To help churches join the movement, Greater Than is creating resources for pastors and laypeople. “Dr. Albert Mohler and John Stonestreet are both on our working group to develop materials that will fortify pastors and congregants,” Katy Faust told ChurchLeaders. She continued:

We will help [faith leaders] understand why God’s definition for marriage has three specific child-protective aspects—complementary, monogamy, permanence—none of which can be nullified or disregarded without child victimization. Then we will identify, both from Scripture and from history, that Christians have always been involved in protecting children, even if it means adults get angry at us.
