Kid Rock joined Kolvet and host Blake Neff on “The Charlie Kirk Show” to discuss the event and shared why he chose to be part of it.
“Half this country is just underserved entertainment-wise, and so many of us got tired of having Hollywood tell us how things are going to be, and hearing all their political this and that,” Kid Rock said, “and trying to shove their agendas and the trans thing and everything down our throats. And it’s like, I guess we’re just gonna have to have our own stuff for right now.”

The “Rock n Roll Jesus” artist said he plans to put on a great show by simply playing “some great music for people who love this country.”
Kolvet asked Kid Rock to speak to the faith element of the show and what fans can expect to see interwoven into his performance.
“I would love to tell people what I’m doing, but I think the element of surprise is really what’s going to make it special. Because no one’s going to be expecting this 180 that I’m going to do,” said Kid Rock.
“I’m trying to make it as unselfish as possible, but at the same time, just play something great,” he said. “Trust me, I’m going to come out and hit them with the Kid Rock like, boom, bang, but that’s going to stop very quickly, and I’m going to take it back to music.”
“Because one thing I know for sure, no matter what that Bunny does—what the NFL is doing, nothing is more powerful than a good song, nothing,” Kid Rock continued.
“There’s an aspect of faith in this song that I’m going to do,” he added. “It’s not my song. I’ll tell people that it’s not a song I wrote, but I did write a verse for it, which is very, very faith based. I love it.”

The song, Kid Rock said, will be released later that night following The All American Halftime Show performance.
The Super Bowl kicks off at 6:30 p.m. ET on Feb. 8 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, and will feature the New England Patriots versus the Seattle Seahawks.
Kid Rock Tells Joe Rogan That Jesus Is Real
During an appearance on “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast in 2024, Kid Rock told Joe Rogan that if he could travel back in time and visit anyone, it would be Jesus.
Kid Rock shared that he “absolutely, 1000%” believes that Jesus is real and that Jesus is the Son of God because of his faith.
“Jesus is everywhere. He’s in this room. He’s in the world. He’s in the universe, by the aliens that you want so desperately to be real or have the concept of them being real. That’s Jesus. That is Jesus,” the rap-rocking-country artist told Rogan.
