“The world doesn’t need more divisive voices,” West said. “But at the same time, when you speak the truth in love and when you stand up for God, that is going to be to some a divisive message. But we got to do it all the more louder and tell people about Jesus because he’s the answer for this messed up world.”
In January, West released a new song, titled “Good,” that talks about how there is nothing people can do to earn God’s gift of grace.

“It’s all about the message of grace,” West said. “I’ve been writing songs for more than 20 years, and I’m still just scratching the surface on fully understanding God’s relentless pursuit of us and his endless love of us.”
“This song is about me trying to pursue my way to be good enough and then learning that there’s nothing I can do to earn the gift of grace,” West explained, saying that that’s why it’s called a gift. “I hope the message will just be like a healing message to people who’ve thought, ‘Man, I keep trying and I’m still not perfect.’ Well, guess what? Join the club.”
After finishing Winter Jam at the end of March, West plans to release a new album in the fall, along with a supporting tour.
