Our hearts are broken, and it is devastating to even be writing this,” Crawford wrote. “So many people have asked how they can help support the Flynn girls during this unimaginable time. This fundraiser was created as a way to come alongside them and help ease some of the financial burden in the days and months ahead.”
Crawford described Ashley as someone who “lived her life as the hands and feet of Jesus.” Crawford said, “Her laughter was contagious. She was an incredible encourager who loved people deeply. She was a devoted wife, an amazing mother, and a cherished daughter, sister, and friend.”

“We find comfort in knowing she entered heaven and heard the words, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant,’” Crawford said.
On Feb. 24, Crawford’s wife, Kara, one of Ashely’s closest friends, posted on social media to commemorate Ashley’s birthday and thanked everyone who had contributed to the fund.
“Wow. We are truly blown away and so incredibly thankful for the way you have all shown up for Ashley and her daughters,” Kara said. “Your generosity, prayers, and support have meant more than we can put into words.”
