While “still afraid, but praising God,” Sadie rode with Kit to the hospital in the back of the ambulance while Christian followed in their vehicle.
“[Christian] told me there was a rainbow over the ambulance the whole way there,” she said. “We stayed the night for observation, but she charmed the nurses just a few hours later and is now perfectly healthy, happy, and brightening everyone’s day!”

Sadie said she hopes her testimony will encourage “everyone to learn what to do in the case of an emergency.” She said, “It happened SO fast, and I’m so thankful I was able to go straight into action!”
“We know that God has our children in His hands,” Sadie said, “we are not in control of our children’s breath or even of our own.”
“We can’t live in a state of fear…we have to trust God in all of it,” she added. “And also, preparation and knowledge in the spiritual and physical sense can be a gift that you can give yourself and your family!”
She concluded by asking everyone to join them in “thanking God for this miracle!”

Korie Robertson, Sadie’s mother, was also present during the incident and also shared on social media, praising Sadie and Christian for “amazing parenting.”
“Sadie and Christian are amazing parents, everyone went into action and helped,” Korie said. “Thankful that we were there together, thankful that the medics arrived quickly. The room was alive with prayer and petition for our sweet little girl, for breath and life in her lungs. Thanking God today and everyday for the gift of her life!”
Korie added, “Kit, we adore you, we love you so very much, and are so excited to watch you grow, and see all of the beautiful plans God has for you!!”
“Sadie and Christian y’all are strong, kind, brave, beautiful parents. Keep shining, fam! I love you so,” Korie concluded.
