I have quick but powerful reminders for pastors. 

Churches are some of the largest volunteer organizations in the world. Without volunteers, ministry doesn’t get done. Here's what it would look like if Jesus were one of your volunteers this weekend.

Through the 80s and 90s, it seems church leaders were relatively well respected. Like doctors, lawyers, and emergency responders. There was honor and reverence for the role. As we all know, it’s not the 1900s any longer.

The Bible acknowledges the reality of scarcity, but it re-casts that scarcity in the bigger picture of God’s abundant generosity.

Conversational discipline can be defined as practicing the techniques that make you a compelling conversational partner.

As leaders and pastors we should learn for our own experience with God, and be willing to forge new ways of leading the church.

Leadership is a complex subject that requires a lifetime of continued learning. It requires constant practice, learning from mistakes and the willingness to take risks.
