In response to the church’s statement following pastor Lowe’s public confession on Sunday, Kline posted on Facebook, saying, “Shame on ANYONE who continues to support this rapist and this church. You are guilty, too. As mentioned below, anyone picketing, please be careful. This is a cult, not a house of God.”
Later, Kline received messages from former church members telling her that while they support her, they also support the Lowe family. “You can’t support both,” she told ChurchLeaders, indicating that the entire Lowe family was complicit in the abuse.
