Christian advised viewers that when they are preparing for marriage, other relationships will necessarily take a back seat to their relationship with the person with whom they are going to spend the rest of their lives.
Christian also seriously encouraged couples to get comfortable with farting in front of each other before getting married. He offered this advice in response to someone who asked if he and Sadie still had awkward moments after getting married. The couple said they really don’t, and Christian says the reason is because they didn’t shame each other for the awkward moments they had when they were dating.
“I would say what prepares you well is if you fart while you’re dating, in engagement, then there’s going to be no awkward moments when you’re married,” he said. “That’s real advice. That really wasn’t a joke.” If he and Sadie had gotten married and “we had never farted in front of each other, then it would be so awkward.”
