“I’ve worked with pastors for 30 years,” Ramsey said. “And I love you—it’s a thankless job.” He then encouraged pastors not to listen to “whiners,” “haters,” or “snowflakes,” but to step up and lead with bold conviction.

Michael Chandler

UFC fighter Michael Chandler told the story of how God led him and his wife to adopt their first child, as well as how he is continually growing in his faith.

Chandler’s next scheduled opponent has been rumored to be Conor McGregor. The two are currently dueling it out through their teams on season 31 of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF).

Chandler went on to encourage those who might be feeling stuck or that aren’t getting the results they want.

“It’s not that people don’t do the right things. It’s just that they don’t do the right things for long enough,” the UFC fighter said. “If we stay prayed up, if we stay faithful, and we stay diligent in the seeking of his face, great things are gonna happen, because the hard work eventually pays off. You just still have to be standing there—arms wide open—when it does.”

Jentezen Franklin

Jentezen Franklin, senior pastor of Free Chapel in Gainesville, Georgia, called church leaders not to apologize for “being true to God’s Word.”

“Don’t be afraid to talk about what everybody else refuses to talk about in your city,” Franklin exhorted.

“Listen,” he said, “we have nothing to apologize for. I said, preachers, we have nothing to apologize for!”

Put spiritual swords in the hands of your congregation, Franklin encouraged. “Which is the Word of God…we’ve got to put the weapons in the hands of God’s people—character, integrity, and standing for what is right, no matter what it costs.”

Riley Gaines

12-time NCAA All-American swimmer and SEC recorder holder Riley Gaines, who made headlines after she tied with transgender swimmer Lia Thomas for fifth place in 200-yard NCAA freestyle championship, shared how she has been verbally and physically assaulted for speaking against the inclusion of trans athletes in women’s sports.
