Pastor Kelley has four children. A GoFundMe page for the family indicates they’ve been “such a blessing to our community.”
On its Facebook page, Willow Christian Church shared “with heavy hearts” the news of the women’s deaths. “We are joyous in the knowledge that they are now sitting at the right hand of God,” the post added. “We hope that you will join us in prayer this week and the weeks ahead that we can stay focused on God’s promises for comfort during our darkest hours.”
The church urged people to focus on praying for the survivors, rather than dwelling on details of the murder investigation. “Pray for our congregation,” it added, “that we would know how to comfort the family and provide for their needs through this journey.”
