This Is the Second See You at the Library for Cameron and Publisher BRAVE Books
See You at the Library was launched in 2023 at more than 300 libraries across the U.S. Parents and grandparents hosted the events at their local libraries to include a “wholesome story hour.”
Initially, in response to many “drag queen story hour” events at local libraries, Cameron offered his own book, “As You Grow,” for story hour events. His book was rejected by dozens of libraries. After Cameron voiced his concern about their violation of the First Amendment, the libraries conceded, and he was able to read his book.
The dispute continued as Cameron called for an investigation into the American Library Association for alleged religious discrimination.
See You at the Library is a collaborative effort between Cameron and his publisher, BRAVE Books, to continue promoting wholesome content for children and families.
Publisher BRAVE Books provides an “interconnected series of books that celebrate families and honor traditional values” in light of “the progressive agenda in so many of today’s children’s books.”
According to BRAVE Books, “The average American family spends just 37 minutes of quality time together per day.” To counter this statistic, “BRAVE families reported that the Freedom Island Book Club helped them spend more time with their family.”
