“Unwavering faith. Ultimate belief. Dependence on the Lord,” Winston confidently answered.

Following their conversation, Winston passed for 334 yards and three touchdowns and led the Browns (2-6) to a 29-24 win over the Ravens (5-3). It was the team’s second win of the season, a game they were predicted to lose by more than a touchdown.

The sideline reporter caught up with Winston after the game and asked him, “The word you used before the game was unwavering. How do you describe this victory?”

“Unwavering faith. Ultimate belief. Depending on the Lord,” Winston responded. “And depending on the Lord should have been first. He gets all the glory. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you for this win.”

Browns’ head coach Kevin Stefanski announced on Monday that Winston will remain the starter for team’s game against the San Diego Chargers.
