Dallas Jenkins Reveals ‘Very First Line That Was Ever Written’ for ‘The Chosen’

Answers Revealed: Are These Quotes Taken from “Frozen” or “The Chosen?”

Jenkins and Brandon identified all eight of these quotes correctly.

“I like you. We’re on the same team, just don’t make me kill you.”

Quintus said this to Jesus (Season 2 Episode 7 of “The Chosen”).

“Love is putting someone else’s needs before yours.”

Olaf said this in “Frozen.”

“That was like a crazy trust exercise.” 

Anna said this in “Frozen.” Jenkins and Brandon speculated that if this quote came from “The Chosen,” it might have been said by either Andrew or Nathaniel.

“There is a lot you will give up, but what you gain is far greater.”

Jesus said this to Nicodemus while on the rooftop in Season 1, Episode 7, of “The Chosen.”

“How is this the second most incredible thing I’ve seen today?”

Jesus had just fed the 5,000. Later, when Thomas sees Jesus walking on the water, Thomas said this in Season 3, Episode 8, of “The Chosen.”

“I’m here. What do you need?”

Kristoff said this in “Frozen.”

“I was one way and now I’m completely different.”

Mary Magdalene said this to Nicodemus in Season 1, Episode 2, of “The Chosen.” Jenkins revealed that this was “the very first line that was ever written for ‘The Chosen.'”

As the writing team worked through how Nicodemus attempts to exorcise Mary’s demons, they added this line. Nicodemus sees Mary later and notices that she’s different. Rather than offering a list of details, she simply focused on her transformation.

“Oh look, I’ve been impaled.”

And of course, Olaf said this in “Frozen.”
