Fans have been waiting, and Third Day is delivering. The band just announced a full lineup of dozens of shows as part of its 30th anniversary tour. Easily “one of the most influential live bands,” Third Day has helped shape Christian music since 1991. And band is back together for a limited time.
“We’re Third Day, and we’re hitting the road all together for the first time in over 11 years,” lead singer Mac Powell shared in a promotional video.
Third Day 2026: Touring in 30 Cities, Celebrating 30 Years
Four band members from Third Day have reunited for a three-month, 30th anniversary tour in 2026—Mac Powell on lead vocals, Mark Lee on electric guitar, Tai Anderson on bass, and David Carr on drums. Tickets will go on sale on June 27.
Award-winning artist Zach Williams will be joining Third Day for the anniversary tour. There’s no indication that this reunion tour is more than a one-time celebration, but fans everywhere are hoping to see a permanent return.
Lead singer and co-founder Mac Powell shared in a video, “Hey, guys! We’re Third Day, and we’re hitting the road all together for the first time in 11 years to celebrate the past 30 years of Third Day Music.”
Third Day promises to include “all the hits” at each concert. This could consist of “Your Love Oh Lord,” “Consuming Fire,” “Nothing At All,” and “My Hope Is You”—among many others. During the band’s career, it “sold 10 million albums, achieved 31 No. 1 singles, and released 14 studio albums.”
“This show will be more than just a concert,” added Tai Anderson. “It’s a celebration of music, faith community, and most importantly—you—our incredible fans.”
Anderson has faced incredible pain and loss in the deaths of two of his children. His son, Eli, who struggled with addiction, died just last year. Anderson also lost a daughter, Mackenzie, in 2018. Anderson described his journey as walking “again in the valley of the shadow of death.”
“I’ve been getting asked the question for many years, ‘when is Third Day going to do a tour again,’ and I’ve always said…One day soon I hope!” Mac Powell told CCM Magazine. “I’m so excited that we finally get the chance to play music together again on stage and give our fans what they’ve been waiting for.”
The tour spans three months in dozens of cities across Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington.
