Miller explained that when the audience is “sitting inside the ark, the live animals are intermingled with all of the animatronic ones, and a lot of times you can’t tell which is which.” She said, “Audiences get to watch them run down the aisles and go on to the ark, many of them all by themselves. It’s adorable. The skunks are by far my favorite.”
But don’t worry, Miller said, “the skunks have been deskunked.”
An entire show takes place behind the curtain, Miller joked. “It is absolute chaos backstage. There’s a whole show that happens behind the scenes. I wish we could sell tickets to that,” she said, adding that movie theater audiences will get a “little bit of a sneak peek during our intermission in movie theaters of what it takes to train the animals. So it’ll be an up close, get to know the animals experience, which we’re super excited about.”
