Encourage your church to do more with less this Christmas by putting worship first.

In seasonal lore, Saint Nicholas is the historical inspiration for what we commonly think of as Santa Claus. No, he didn’t really have reindeer and deliver presents. But he was someone who cared about those in need including children.

We’re in-between life as we knew it and something different. I believe “normal” will be different after this passes too. While we’re in-between, what if God desires to prepare us for something different. Something He’s about to do?

More and more leaders quietly express a sense of life being out of control. I think at some level, we all understand what that means; it’s what we do with that thought or feeling that matters.

Joseph and Mary certainly don’t often come up in conversations about Christian marriage. Perhaps they should. If we pay attention, Jesus' parents can point us toward what makes a good marriage.

Don't fall in love with the way things "should be."

The pandemic has forever impacted the way we do church, and I would strongly encourage you to continue live streaming – even if you’re back in the building.

Whether it’s long-term, senior leaders having decades of moral misconduct revealed in the end, or younger leaders leading a lifestyle as sexually trendy as their hair and clothes, there is a growing crisis in character surfacing within Christian leadership.
