If God uses our worship to transform sinners, starting with us, then the enemy use lies about worship to do all in his power to neutralize it.

Having visited many churches over the years and then joining one as a non-staff member, here’s what I believe can help make a compelling worship service that would encourage people to want to come back.

It seems like whenever the topic of multigenerational or intergenerational worship gets brought up, a lot of concerns and assumptions start being expressed. Here are some thoughts regarding what intergenerational worship is not and what intergenerational worship is.

Hearing artists like Leonard Cohen or Bono on the Psalms may seem problematic to many in the Evangelical church; however, it’s worth considering the book of Psalms in its entirety and ask whether our church cultures create space for the same range of emotions.

I saw at church was the fulness of him who fills every thing in every way. I discovered the pillar and support of the truth as they put the wisdom of God on display.

Church leaders love the feeling of an organic church service. “Organic” goes by several other names, such as “authentic,” “vulnerable,” “real,” and “Spirit-led,” an authentic church experience.
