Is there anything cuter than kids in a Christmas play? I mean seriously, don’t we just love seeing the kids sharing their songs, saying their lines, quoting their Bible verses and wearing all the Christmassy things?

Christmas is such a significant time to teach our kids the value of Christ to show them a God who came near. There is so much of our faith that our kids have to grow into.

Families are so busy during the holiday season that it is challenging to take time to focus on what matters most. We all want our children to recognize that Christmas is about Jesus. This resource gives families an easy and fun way to take a few minutes each day to focus on Him.

We talked with several kid’s ministry leaders and pieced together a strategy that has worked really well at engaging our kids more than anything else we’ve tried.

These brief readings and prayers do not take a lot of time (can easily be done at the dinner table) but they help to frame Advent and the celebration of Christ’s birth in the larger story, the metanarrative, of Scripture.

God has made it abundantly clear in Scripture that he wants to bless our children and descendants. He’s given us many promises to give us faith to hope and pray for their salvation and well-being.
