It’s deciding what’s important. Asking questions such as, why we are a church? What would God have us to do as one? Church revitalization means changing the focus from “us” to “them."

How can we be filled with the Holy Spirit? How can we experience an outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon our church and ourselves that fills us with indomitable joy and frees us, and empowers us, to love those around us in ways so authentic that they are won to Christ?

It seems so much more exciting to live with a freewheeling openness to the leading of the Holy Spirit rather than practicing the laborious discipline of mastering His Word, but if we want to do the will of the Father, we need to study the Word of the Father.
