Is healing from burnout possible? Yes, out of winter comes spring. Out of compost comes rich soil. Out of death comes resurrection. This is the path Christ took and is inviting every pastor to plummet into.

You’ve invited them to church over and over and they still refuse to come. Why?

In order to experience God you need to read the Bible, pray, and meditate, to name just a few avenues.  Or some might argue, we experience God by way of spiritual disciplines.

While long ministries are usually preferable, not everyone is supposed to remain in the same place for a lifetime: How do I know when it’s time to leave?

We pastors fail. And especially this pastor, bear not only the trials and transgressions of our congregations, but also the trials and transgressions within ourselves. We are walking contradictions, broken and frail, like partially blind beggars trying to help other people see clearly and feast fully.

Your purpose in life is to make the invisible presence of Jesus visible in the lives of others. You are the look on Christ’s face. You are the tone of his voice. You are the touch of his hands. You are the physical representation of his grace.

In the hands of the Adversary learning from sin is not possible, but in God's hands learning from sin is. This, too, is part of God's great redemption.
