5. Jayson Tatum
Six-time NBA All-Star point guard Jayson Tatum, 27, is entering his ninth year with the Boston Celtics. Unfortunately, he may miss most of this season, after rupturing an Achilles tendon during the playoffs in May.
Tatum, a St. Louis native, played one year of college basketball at Duke. In his Instagram bio, he proclaims, “In Jesus Name I Play.” And Tatum’s X bio notes, “If you put God First anything is possible!!! Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ who Strengthens me!!!”
After winning his first NBA championship in 2024, the Celtics star said, “First of all, God is the greatest—not because we won, but to put me in position to maximize my God-given ability to surround me with these guys, my family. This is an incredible feeling.”
Through his foundation, Tatum aims to inspire, uplift, and empower young people, families, and communities.
