Calling Todd White a “fraud,” apologist Mike Winger offered up to $100,000 for a “proper, good, independent investigation” into the Texas-based faith healer. Winger, who recently shared an extensive exposé into Bethel Church and Shawn Bolz, said he wants to protect followers who are harmed by “coverup culture in the charismatic church.”

In a four-hour video titled “I Can Finally Show You the Evidence,” Winger detailed allegations against White and his Lifestyle Christianity ministry. Winger shared four “open letters” from former insiders who want to “stop [White] from hurting people.” He also played clips of White claiming he didn’t lie for up to 16 years at a time and equating prescription medication with witchcraft.

Mike Winger Alleges Wrongdoing by Todd White

Todd White is a former drug-addicted atheist who turned to Jesus in 2004. The evangelist, who’s been linked to prosperity gospel teachings, claims to heal sick people and cast out demons.

In a recent video, Mike Winger called White “a very real danger to others,” adding that “major charismatic leaders have been covering up for him.” Winger alleged that White embellishes his stories of healing, puts ministry donations toward his half-million-dollar salary, spends extravagantly, and uses employees’ personal data to manipulate them.

“It was almost one year ago when six insiders in Todd White’s ministry came to me, asking me to help them blow the whistle and warn the body of Christ about Todd White,” said Winger.

His offer to pay for an independent investigation is “serious,” Winger added, noting that “Todd White has taught people things that endanger their physical lives.” For example, Winger alleged that the faith healer urges followers to discard life-saving medications and do 40-day water fasts.

White operates Lifestyle Christianity University (LCU) near Dallas. In audio clips shared by Winger, LCU staff members reportedly vent about White serving only himself while hurting others.

Winger named people who’ve allegedly “covered up for Todd White…or they have kept his own board from holding him accountable.” The apologist also announced a “Todd White Petition” that urges Lifestyle Christianity to stop using non-disclosure agreements and to agree to an independent investigation.
