Recalling his time at Scaradise 2026, Novak told ChurchLeaders that, when he met Ulrich on Friday, he could sense that the actor was “shocked somebody was coming to talk about Jesus at the convention.”

Having experienced different reactions from numerous celebrity encounters over the years, Novak wasn’t offended by Ulrich’s comments. In fact, the Celebrity Evangelist shared that he was pleased that Ulrich had remembered the gift throughout the weekend enough to bring it up on Sunday.

Novak told ChurchLeaders that he hopes that people will pray for Ulrich, Lillard, and the others he was able to share Jesus with at the convention.
