Logan Paul is a social media personality, boxer, and WWE performer who rose to fame on YouTube and has since built a multifaceted career spanning entertainment, sports, and business ventures.
Mike Majlak is a content creator and author known for his work alongside Logan Paul, for cohosting the “IMPAULSIVE” podcast with Paul, and for documenting his struggles with addiction and recovery in his memoir “The Fifth Vital.”
Majlak and Paul’s interview with Osteen covered the pastor’s background, Osteen’s focus on positivity, whether the criticism Osteen receives makes him angry, the pastor’s views of heaven and hell, and Osteen’s current thoughts on Ye, formerly known as Kanye West.

Joel Osteen told Paul and Majlak that the reason for his wealth is that “God’s blessed me.”
The pastor said that his “first book sold 10 million copies. I couldn’t make that happen.” When the other two wanted to know how his book did so well, Osteen said, “I guess it just caught on, you know. It just caught on. I was on TV and stuff…some of this I can’t explain…it’s the sovereignty of God.”
“I think I’m reaping seeds that my parents have sown, but I couldn’t make that up,” said Osteen. “It was on the bestsellers list for two years. I couldn’t make that up.”
“I get paid for my book sales, and this is from Walmart and Target, and then I’ve written others,” Osteen continued, “and I’m on Sirius radio, and so I’m blessed in outside areas of the church.”
“None of the donations come to me,” he said, “and I feel [that], what greater thing can I feel to think that I can work here, and I don’t have to take a salary, and God’s blessed me in other ways?”
“I make good investments,” said the pastor. “I love real estate. I love doing things…but I’m not exorbitant in these.”
“Of course,” Osteen admitted, “I don’t like when people say, ‘You’re just doing it for the money and you got these fleets of cars’—and if somebody wants fast, fun cars, that’s fine too. There’s nothing wrong with it. It’s just not me.”
