Tim Tebow Continues His Father’s Missions Work

In response to Tim Tebow’s posts about his father, people have been sharing their condolences. Texas Pastor Josh Howerton described Bob Tebow as a “man of whom this world was not worthy,” referencing Hebrews 11:38.

Football analyst Robert Griffin III—who, like Tim Tebow, won the Heisman Trophy in college—wrote, “Praying for you and the family Tim.”

ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky wrote, “Sorry to hear [about] your loss man, but he’s home,” followed by the praying-hands emoji.

Tim Tebow called his parents his “greatest role models…not just because of what they told me but because of what they showed me.” Last year, Tebow accepted the responsibility of continuing his parents’ work through the Tim Tebow Foundation.

To honor Bob Tebow, his family invited people to support “the work that he gave his life for—sharing the gospel across Southeast Asia.” An obituary noted that donations to the Bob Tebow Evangelistic Association, “which his son Tim will carry forward,” will allow “multitudes of people to hear the gospel!”
