“Now, you think in reality every day is a dream life for me. It’s absolute hell hounding you in every way you could ever imagine and not imagine,” she described. “But every day, I’m like, I’m in the arena, and I’m not in with PeeWee Herman. I got Muhammad Ali coming at me right now and Mike Tyson on the other side and Evander Holyfield and my ears about to get bit off and my toes about to be broke.”
She joked, “You got to be old to understand what I’m preaching right there.”
White-Cain concluded her illustration by saying, “I’ve got an opportunity that God allowed me to face every struggle.”
The president’s pastor also shared that she takes communion at the White House. “Sometimes I take communion four or five times at the White House,” she said. “I for real do.”
