Christian McCaffrey
Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey, also sidelined last year by injury, says he’s “playing for more than just football” on the field. Though he doesn’t think God is “looking down on me and hoping that I score touchdowns,” he does strive to perform to his “absolute best” each week.
McCaffrey, who’s from a family of football greats, wrote after getting hurt: “It’s easy to have faith when everything is going well. But a true soldier has faith in times of adversity.”
