East Texas Franchisees Build Their Chick-fil-A on the Bible—Literally

Wynter’s middle name Rhea honors Rhea F. Miller, who wrote “I’d Rather Have Jesus.” The song was stuck in Holley’s head, she says, “before we ever were told any news about our girl.” The Snows “decided early on, we would rather our children have Jesus than anything else this world says is ‘normal.’ Heaven is the goal, & if our girl can worship Jesus & point others to Him, it’s worth more than silver or gold, houses or land, man’s applause or anything this world affords.”

Holley Snow adds, “Our God is in the happy & sunshine, but he’s also in the lowest, darkest, stormiest moments.” As the date for Wynter’s open-heart surgery nears, her mother admits being fearful yet is taking comfort in God, who “truly is near to the broken hearted.”
