Although he’s passing the torch of his conference ministry, Jakes will remain a senior pastor of his flagship Potter’s House church in Dallas. Through real-estate ventures, Jakes is working to expand affordable-housing options and business opportunities in cities, including Atlanta. He also just announced a two-year deal to stream his sermons and faith-based interviews on Amazon Freevee, starting in December.
At the final WTAL conference, Jakes reminded the 20,000 (mostly female) attendees that their dreams are within reach. He expects them to “do exploits” and “be an overcomer,” he says. “It’s been a great run. I’m so happy to celebrate the grand finale with you.”
