Current projects McDonough is involved in include hosting “Christmas with The Tabernacle Choir,” which will air on PBS on Dec. 13, and starring in  “Left Behind: Rise of the Antichrist,” set to release on Jan. 26, 2023. Kevin Sorbo, star of the 90s series “Hercules: The Legendary Journeys” and the first “God’s Not Dead” movie, directs and also stars in the film.

“It’s just been a phenomenal, phenomenal couple of years,” McDonough told Rosenbaum, “and I couldn’t be happier.”
