All they had was a big green tarp nicknamed the “Green Burrito,” which was filled with water balloons in order to shoot the scene, Jenkins explained. It was when all of those things came together quickly that the awareness that “I was just so out of out of control in the sense of it—I wasn’t dictating everything—and then when the scene turned out so powerfully, that impacted me personally.”

Jenkins said, “I was like okay, this is bigger than me. And that’s a really great place to be. I know I don’t have to rely on myself for this, and that’s when it really started to impact me.”
