This year, Sorbo starred in “Left Behind: Rise of the Antichrist,” a film that is based on the bestselling “Left Behind” book series, co-authored by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins. The series explores a world where Christians have been raptured from the world.
Sorbo also directed and stars in “Miracle in East Texas,” a film based on the real life events of two con men trying to convince a group of widows to invest in worthless oil wells during the Great Depression. The film is set to release in theaters on Oct. 29.
