A video posted to the “Wheel of Fortune” YouTube channel shows Michael competing in the bonus round by correctly solving the puzzle as “opening a jar” and winning $40,000. Katie and Mitchell joined him onstage to celebrate as members of the studio audience rose to their feet and cheered.
When asked how it felt to win, Michael replied, “It is euphoric. I need to sit down and process this.” When asked what the “best moment of the day” was, he said, “Winning, obviously,” adding, “I knew, I knew that first letter was an ‘O.’ I just knew it.”
