According to a statement, Tikkun was “caught off guard” by news of Sanctuary’s paperwork, was “not involved in any way with the establishment of this new congregation,” and was surprised to be listed as a beneficiary.

Tikkun said it has requested that its name be removed but remains willing to help IHOPKC leaders address the “credible allegations” against Bickle. “We have not backed away from our call for an independent third-party investigation, which we believe should be submitted to an external group of elders in the body of Messiah,” its statement read.
