“And I just, I want to share that with you,” Tebow told Ryan, “because I know that your heart breaks for them, and I think that map brings to life the evil that we’re trying to fight.”

“You know, one of our hearts is to get the Renewed Hope Act passed through Congress,” Tebow continued. He told Ryan that right now there are only seven victim identification officers working at C3. Passing the Renewed Hope Act would raise the number of victim identification officers from seven to 200.

Moreover, the red dot map does not even cover “livestreaming or sextortion or grooming or so many of the other issues we’re fighting,” said Tebow. “That is just in peer-to-peer networks, of them sharing and distributing child rape images under the age of 12.”

The child sex abuse materials [CSAM] downloads the map reveals are showing people’s intentional decisions. “It’s not like this just happens by accident,” Tebow said. “No, so many of these are brutal, brutal abuse of children.”

“It is our heart that we would rally an army, and maybe even declare a national emergency to fight this evil of, this is happening in our backyard,” said Tebow, again pushing back on the misconception that these appalling crimes are mainly happening outside of the United States. They are in other places, he said, but also, “it is happening in our country, right here in our neighborhoods, in our backyards, in our families.”

Regarding “the fight against livestreaming,” Tebow asked Ryan, “Do you know the No. 1 payer of livestream rape of boys and girls around the world?”

“U.S.,” said Ryan.

“U.S.,” Tebow agreed, “not close. And in peer-to-peer sharing, we’re third. China, Russia, America.”

“How are you combating this?” Ryan asked.

“Well, we’re trying to do it in every area and every way possible, whether that’s with partnerships and nonprofits and law enforcement and rallying and task forces and legislation and lobbying, you know,” Tebow replied, “trying to get them to enhance the army per se, and fighting this, and that’s really what the Renewed Hope Act is for.”
