“[Phil] was embarrassed of his past, but he never let that get in the way of telling his story,” Robertson said. “He wanted every last one of you to know that God’s love and grace and forgiveness are for all of us.”
“So if you’ve never seen it,” Robertson concluded, “or even if you have, come with someone who needs to hear that message of hope. It’s not too late for any of us.”
“The Blind” is in theaters now until Sept. 4.
