4. Have fun!
Laughing and playing together is the glue. Use it to connect preteens to their leaders, to the church, and, most importantly, to Jesus.
Brainstorm with volunteers to find funny videos, jokes, stories, games, and interactive experiences. Ask who can help you think up fun elements. Then find ways to include them in your program. Who’s the best leader to engage the kids? How can you better enjoy being together?
These four core ingredients are your secret sauce. So how do you plan to incorporate them into your preteen program, starting today?
