How To Handle Youth Group Drama (cont.)
Now maybe your intervention doesn’t need to be so drastic. But you do need to deal with the drama directly. Until you do, a tear will exist in the fabric of your group unity. No lesson or lecture can fix it.
Next step: Unite teens in prayer and mission. I love the words of the good Dr. Luke in Acts 4:31-33. “After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly. All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all.”
They prayed together. They were filled with the Holy Spirit together. And they proclaimed the Gospel together. The result? They were “one in heart and mind.” In the words of Mary J. Blige, there was “no more drama.”
To unite your teens in prayer and evangelism, pursue a Gospel Advancing Ministry! The more you are unified together in Christ’s cause, the less drama you’ll experience.
