6. ‘I’m Saved. I Am Healed’—UFC Superstar Conor McGregor Expresses Newfound Faith in God

Ultimate Fighter Championship (UFC) superstar Conor McGregor shared that God has “saved” him.

During a Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) press conference in Italy on Oct. 23, McGregor, who is a part owner of the promotion, was asked if there is a connection between his life’s journey and the spirit of BKFC.

McGregor, 37, created a persona of being one of the loudest, foulest, most belligerent fighters in the UFC. So it presumably came to the surprise of many fans when the “Notorious,” as he’s known by some, expressed he now lives by “God’s Word.”
