16. QB Lamar Jackson Sacked Online for Sharing Charlie Kirk’s ‘Jesus’ Post

Throughout his NFL career, Lamar Jackson has been vocal about sharing his Christian faith and “keeping God first.” As part of that witness, the Baltimore Ravens quarterback often shares Bible verses and faith-based content on social media.

But when Jackson shared the four words “It’s all about Jesus” on X Sunday (Aug. 17), the internet erupted—due to the original post’s source, conservative commentator Charlie Kirk.

After Jackson reposted Kirk’s brief “Jesus” message, some people rushed to the QB’s defense, saying he probably doesn’t know who Kirk is. Others were angry about Jackson’s choice of messenger.
