14. Skit Guys End 30-Year Ministry After Eddie James Resigns Over ‘Choices’ Violating Marriage Standards

After nearly 30 years of ministry, the Skit Guys as a performing duo are coming to an end due to the resignation of cofounder Eddie James.

James’ comedy partner and ministry cofounder, Tommy Woodard, shared a video explaining the launch of a new creative organization called 231 Collective.

In a detailed public statement, Woodard explained, “The primary catalyst behind these changes is that Eddie James, cofounder of Skit Guys, had to resign from our ministry based on choices he made, which all of us, including Eddie, agree were not in line with our ministry, our calling, or God’s Word.”
