7. Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears
The NFC North champion Chicago Bears are led by 2022 Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams. Now 24, the QB credits his Catholic high school education for showing him how to be a “man for others.” Williams’ high school coach said, “Caleb is supremely talented athletically, but what makes him really elite is everything that he is in mind and heart and spirit.”
Off the field, Williams launched Caleb Cares to empower youth, prevent bullying, and support mental health.
8. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles
Jalen Hurts, who already has one Super Bowl ring, led the Eagles to an 11-6 season and another NFC East title. The QB credits his family for providing spiritual education and instilling in him a strong faith.

In a 2022 interview, Hurts said, “I’ve just matured and realized that God is everything and he’s worthy of praise.” The quarterback, now 27, added, “I keep God in the center, I give him all the praise, I lean on him all the time, and I know that everything unfolds the way it’s supposed to.”
9. Bryce Young, Carolina Panthers
Bryce Young, winner of the 2021 Heisman Trophy, is in his third year with the Panthers. Despite an 8-9 record, Carolina won the NFC South and heads to the playoffs for the first time under Young’s leadership. The 24-year-old quarterback, who lists “Follower of Christ” in his Instagram bio, said he was raised in faith and has grown closer to Jesus throughout his life.
“I work to be the best version of myself that I can be and to embody Christ in all that I do,” Young said on a 2022 episode of the “Sports Spectrum” podcast. The QB added, “At the end of the day, what motivates me and pushes me is to model myself after the Lord.”
